The occasion
Before the doors open, there is a short window to photograph the room on its own.
Kaffee Korfé opened in Nordenham in April 2025, a fresh start for a name that has carried the year 1969 on its sign for a long time. We photographed the dining room in daylight, with the shelves stocked and the tables laid.
Then came what guests actually order — the tiered boards, iced tea in mason jars, latte art — and portraits at the counter. Ninety-two images made to stay useful beyond opening day.
